Visitors from around the world have made the music pilgrimage to visit Norman Petty's Seventh Street Studios where rock ‘n’ roll history was made. Musical legends including Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly recorded their biggest hits just a stone’s throw away from Clovis Main Street, where Norman Petty perfected the legendary “Clovis Sound.”
Studio visitors will see equipment used by Buddy Holly and the Fireballs, including the large dangling microphones, original control board, clocks on the walls, original Coke machine and authentic 1950s furnishings. The curators have worked hard to keep the studio just as it was so that musical enthusiasts can relive the important rock and roll history.
