Clovis is a city with a heart as big as our beautiful horizons and we want everyone to feel part of the Clovis family! To make heartfelt connections and take advantage of the endless possibilities in Clovis, we challenge you to complete as many of these challenges by September 30, 2021!

Complete the challenges and win great prizes!

Download your game card and explore Clovis by visiting these specific locations and businesses. You can also pick up a printed copy of the game card at the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce (105 E Grand Ave, Clovis, NM 88101).


The first 200 people to turn in their game sheet with at least 17 activities completed will receive a branded bag (similar to the one pictured on the game card) filled with prizes. One prize per game sheet, while supplies last.


Those who complete this challenge will also be entered into a drawing for a grand prize including two plane tickets provided by Denver Air Connection!

  1. Download the game card or pick up a printed copy from the Clovis Chamber (105 E Grand Ave)

  2. Visit participating activities and follow the photo requirements to document your visit! Photos are required for all challenges. 

    Please consider sharing your photos
    on social media using our official Clovis hashtags! 



  3. Complete at least 17 activities before Sept. 30, and submit your game card for a prize! When you are ready to submit your game card, you can upload your photos online OR bring your photos to have them verified at the Clovis Chamber of Commerce (105 E Grand Ave).

  1. OPO Outdoor Show
    Clovis Civic Center, 801 Schepps Blvd.
    Stop by this free outdoor show on July 24 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. or July 25 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Make sure you snag a photo while you’re there. 


  2. Santa Fe Railroad Sign
    Located at 1st and Main
    Snap a photo in front of this recognizable Clovis landmark that signals when trains are passing through town.

  3. Experience a Clovis Sunset 
    Take a photo of a vibrant scene as the sun makes its way toward the horizon. 

  4. 100th Annual Curry County Fair $$ 
    Curry County Fairgrounds, 1900 E. Brady Ave. Check out the fair between Aug. 10-14 and take a photo of your favorite food, ride or attraction. 


  5. Food Truck Fridays 
    Located near 8th and Main Street 
    Wrap up your week and grab a bite at Food Truck Friday. Take a pic that looks good enough to eat! 

  6. Norman & Vi Petty Rock and Roll Museum $$ 
    105 E Grand Ave. (inside the Chamber building)
    Learn about the rock and roll legends that perfected the legendary “Clovis Sound.” Utilize the retro setting for a fun photo op.

  7. Phil and Vernah Williams Historic Railroad Park
    221 W. First St.
    Check out the original 1906 9005 locomotive and learn about the entry to our Historic Railroad District. Don’t forget the photo!

  8. #CannonStrong
    Explore Veterans Park in honor of our armed forces. OR Fly an American flag/display a yellow ribbon in support of our service members. Snap a photo to show either one! 

  9. Hillcrest Park Zoo $$ 
    1208 N. Norris Street 
    Visit the zoo located in Hillcrest Park and take a selfie with your favorite animal.

  10. Back-to-School Expo
    Clovis Civic Center, 801 Schepps Blvd.
    On August 7, attend Pattern Energy’s fourth annual Back-to-School Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Take a photo to document your visit. 


  11. Colonial Park Golf Course / 19th Hole Grill $$
    1300 Colonial Pkwy
    Hit a bucket of balls or grab a bite to eat. Don’t forget to snap a photo! 

  12. Blackwater Draw National Historic Landmark
    508 Route 467, Portales
    Take a selfie as you explore a significant site in North American archaeology, where the “Clovis Man” was uncovered.

  13. Clovis Fun Center $$ 
    700 Fairlane Drive|
    Stop by and enjoy a game of mini golf or any of the other fun family activities. Take a moment to document the fun with a photo!

  14. Making Heartfelt Connections
    Leave a thank-you note to recognize a stand-out employee at a local business or organization. Don’t forget to snap a photo of your note! 

  15. Ned Houk Park
    located on Highway 209 North
    Wander the beautiful walking trails, play a round of disc golf, or catch a glimpse of the roaming buffalo. Lots of fun photo opportunities here!

  16. Clovis Yard of the Month 
    Nominate a house or business. Use the form at or send a message via the City’s Facebook page. Take a screenshot of your submitted nomination.

  17. Hotel Clovis

    Take a photo in front of what used to be the tallest building between Albuquerque, NM and Dallas, TX.

  18. Blackwater Coffee Co. $$ 
    301 E Llano Estacado Blvd
    Grab a cup of joe or tea at this local coffee shop – great for catching up with friends or making connections. Don’t forget the photo!

  19. Stay Connected to Keep #ClovisStrong
    Follow the “Clovis is Hiring” Facebook group to help connect job seekers with local employers. Take a screenshot showing you’ve joined.

  20. Hillcrest Splash Park 
    1001 Sycamore St
    Cool off at this summer attraction. Don’t have kids? We recommend capturing photo evidence of a friend/family member under the giant splash bucket. Now that’s fun for all ages. 

  21. Participate in the “hello! my name is …” campaign 
    Obtain a free button with your first name on it from the Chamber (contact 575-763-3435 or Take a selfie wearing your button!

  22. Clovis-Carver Public Library
    701 N Main St 
    From classic books, an arrowhead collection and more … discover all our local library has to offer and take a pic with your favorite part!

  23. Support Local Business
    Write a positive Yelp or Facebook review for a local business. Include #allinclovis, #heartfeltconnections or #endlesshorizons. Take a screenshot of your review.
