Wings Over Cannon Air Show Traffic Advisory

CLOVIS, NM (May 29, 2026) – The City of Clovis would like to inform residents and visitors that increased traffic congestion is expected on Saturday, June 6, 2026, during the Wings Over Cannon Airshow at Cannon Air Force Base.

The airshow will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, increased traffic is expected before and after the event as visitors arrive and depart the installation. The heaviest traffic volumes are anticipated during the morning arrival period leading up to the event and immediately following the conclusion of the airshow.

Primary impacted areas are expected to include:

• U.S. Highway 60/84 corridors entering and exiting Clovis

• State Route 311

• Major intersections and roadways leading toward Cannon Air Force Base

Motorists should expect delays during these peak travel periods and are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and exercise patience while law enforcement and public safety personnel work to support safe and efficient traffic flow.

The City of Clovis proudly welcomes visitors attending Wings Over Cannon and appreciates the community's support in helping ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all. While residents may see increased traffic throughout the day, we believe the temporary delays will be well worth it for the opportunity to witness the skill, precision and power of American airpower on display right here in eastern New Mexico.
